the cake was my attempt at being a 'birthday cake making mummy'! ;-) .. the candle on it was really kooky - it was one of those candles that never blows out. I had no idea when I bought it! we stood there blowing and it would go and out then reignite. this happened a dozen times or so, then Will premanently extinguished it under the tap!
+ - the giant banner was hung in the street by Will's family to commerate the day

Yesterday was a beautiful Spring day, so we visited our friend Meire's house. Una loved sitting on the grass and pulling it out of the ground!
